Mark Rutland

President, Southeastern University

Dr. Mark Rutland serves as president of both Southeastern University and Global Servants. Southeastern University, which boasts an enrollment of about 3,000 students, is rapidly growing. Dr. Rutland’s 30-minute daily radio program, Herald of Joy, is heard in multiple markets.

Through Global Servants, Dr. Rutland has founded ministries in Ghana and Thailand. The House of Grace home for tribal girls in Chiang Rai, Thailand was founded in 1988 and houses over 100 girls rescued from prostitution.

A native of Texas, he studied at the University of Maryland and Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Rutland holds a PhD from California Graduate School of Theology.

Dr. Rutland is the author of 11 books: Launch Out into the Deep, The Finger of God, Hanging by a Thread, Behind the Glittering Mask, Streams of Mercy, God of the Valleys, Nevertheless, Dream, Character Matters, Power, Holiness and his latest book, Resurrection.

Mark and Alison Rutland have one son, two daughters, two grandsons and one granddaughter.
