Gardiner W. Garrard, III, CFA Mr. Garrard is a founder and Managing Partner of TTV Capital, LLC (TTV). TTV is one of the preeminent venture capital firms in the financial technology industry. TTV, with its deep financial industry experience, operational focus, and extensive relationships with leading financial services firms, has a highly successful investment approach with a proven track record of delivering extraordinary results for entrepreneurs and investors by helping build new innovative financial technology businesses.
In addition to his venture investing, Mr. Garrard has been a successful turn-around CEO. In 2003, he became the interim CEO of a portfolio company, stabilizing operations and securing a merger that allowed the investors to see a positive return on investment.
His community involvement includes board or advisory board roles at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Goizueta Business School, and The Emory Eye Center. Mr. Garrard is a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), and was recognized in 2004 with the Goizueta Business School's Outstanding Recent Alumni Award. He earned a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he was Chairman of the Honor Council and awarded the Art Dietz faculty award for excellence in finance. For TTV, he has served on the board of 12 financial technology companies and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Connecture, FTRANS, Perimeter eSecurity, Bluepoint Solutions, Chain Reaction Ecommerce, FX Bridge, and IAS.
Mr. Garrard lives in Atlanta with his wife, Wick, and his three daughters, Margaret, Caroline and Emily.
